It is the mission of the Guild at Bloomberg Industry Group to advocate for all employees of the company and aggressively bargain for a fair and equitable contract. We do this by representing workers in disputes with management, providing vital information to workers on their rights in the workplace, and helping all workers navigate the challenges related to healthcare, pay, benefits, and quality of life at work.
Being a member of the Guild means supporting equity and fairness for all at work, standing up against arbitrary or retaliatory conduct, and holding our management accountable for the decisions that impact all employees and their families. With guaranteed protections under federal labor law, we are able to advocate aggressively for better pay, benefits, and working conditions. This means the company is obligated by law to work with the union on pay, safety and a slew of other issues.
We also believe it is easier to do exceptional work when we bargain for the most competitive benefits in our industry. The Guild has bargained for, and negotiated with management, countless benefits that you are entitled to.
